Welcome to the Congregation Agudas Achim Song Project
Thanks for participating in the CAA Song Project!
Deadline extended to Wednesday, September 2!
This is a way for you to record yourself singing a song that we will combine with recordings from the rest of our community into an audio track to hear during our High Holiday services. The song is “Eitz Chayim Hi,” which comes at the end of the Torah service.
We want the recording to sound like our congregation. Whether you sing in tune or not, keep on rhythm or not, or know how to pronounce Hebrew, if you are a member of Congregation Agudas Achim, we want your voice in this project!
Instructions on how to record on Apple or Android phones are here. Remember to have everyone in your household sing on one recording, please!
To play the guide recording, click the play arrow below. If you’re recording with others, at least one person should listen to the video guide with an earphone. The others can listen to that person sing and also watch the video to stay in tempo. Imagine you are singing in services when you record.
When your recording is finished, send the recording and a photo of the singer(s), or your whole family, to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for sending your recording is Aug. 28; this will allow enough time to edit the final recording. If you have questions about recording, email email@example.com.
Thanks for participating, and we’re looking forward to hearing your voices!
